Questions about the designer
Does the box designer give me a price instantly?
It builds a complete, production-ready specification and sends it to our team, who return a firm price within one business day. Packaging pricing depends on board yield, press sheet nesting and freight, so an instant figure would be a guess — the indicative per-box prices on each product page are the closest quick estimate.
Do I need artwork to use the designer?
No. Artwork is optional at this stage — you can upload a file if you have one, or leave it and we will send you a free dieline template to design onto after we confirm the structure.
Am I committing to anything by submitting?
No. Submitting the designer form is a quote request. No payment is taken, no card details are collected, and nothing is manufactured until you approve both a written quote and a digital proof.
Can I design a box style that isn't in your range?
Yes. Tick “Custom Shape” on the style step and describe it, or send a sketch or a sample of an existing box. Our tooling is flat cutting dies, so bespoke structures do not carry a mould cost the way moulded packaging does.
What units should I use for dimensions?
Either — the designer has an inches/centimetres toggle. Always give interior dimensions (the space your product occupies), not the outside of an existing box, and we will add the board allowance.
Can I save my design and come back later?
The form does not save between visits. If you are mid-way through a complex specification, submit what you have with a note, and we will continue it with you over email so nothing is lost.
