Shipping & Delivery

We manufacture in Manchester and deliver by DHL to 24 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Standard delivery to a single address in any of those countries is included free in every price shown on this website. We do not accept orders from, or deliver to, any other country.

Delivery by country

All prices on this site are quoted per market and include local VAT or GST where that market requires it. Standard DHL delivery to a single address is included free in 23 of our 24 markets. Japan is the exception — air freight on multi-kilo packaging is too expensive to absorb, so it is quoted with your order based on the shipped weight.

How the timeline works

1. Specification and quote (1–2 business days). We confirm dimensions, board grade, print method and finishing, and send a firm price including freight and tax.
2. Dieline and digital proof (1–2 business days). You receive a layered dieline and a digital proof. The production clock does not start until you approve it.
3. Production (7–20 business days). Folding cartons and corrugated formats run at the shorter end; rigid, magnetic and tin formats at the longer end. Each product page states its own production window.
4. Transit (2–10 business days). Parcel for smaller runs, pallet freight for bulk. Australian orders travel furthest, so allow the top of the range. Tracking is emailed as soon as the consignment leaves the plant.

Turnaround options

Three production speeds are available in the quote configurator. Each is quoted with your order, and the faster tiers carry a surcharge.

Rigid boxes, foil-stamped work, hand-assembled gift packaging and printed tins involve fixed hand-finishing or metal-forming stages and generally cannot be rushed. Complex formats run to the production window stated on their own product page, which can be longer than the standard tier.

Pallet and freight deliveries

Orders above roughly 2,000 units typically ship on pallets by LTL freight. Kerbside delivery is standard; tail-lift, inside delivery and booked delivery windows are available and quoted at cost. Tell us at quotation stage if your site has no loading dock or restricted access, because a failed delivery attempt is the most common cause of avoidable delay.

Split and scheduled deliveries

High-volume orders can be produced in one run and released in instalments against an agreed calendar. This gives you volume pricing without needing warehouse space for the whole order at once. Additional delivery addresses beyond the first are quoted at cost.

Damaged or short deliveries

Inspect your consignment on arrival. If pallets or cartons are visibly damaged, photograph them before unpacking and email the photographs to sales@boxes-custom.com within 5 business days of delivery. We replace damaged or short-shipped goods at no cost to you, including freight.
