A magnetic closure box is a hinged rigid box with neodymium magnets concealed under the wrap at the lid edge and front lip. The lid swings shut and snaps closed with an audible click — the single most recognised premium packaging cue in retail.

What are custom magnetic closure boxes?
The magnet spec is the product. Two to four 10 mm neodymium discs per box, seated in milled recesses under the wrap paper, give a firm snap without making the lid hard to open. Too weak and it drifts open in transit; too strong and customers struggle. Magnet count is quoted explicitly on every order we run.
Construction is book-style: a greyboard base, a lid hinged along the back edge, and a front lip the lid closes against. Because the hinge is a folded board joint rather than a mechanical part, the wrap paper across the spine takes all the flex — which is why 128–157 gsm laminated art paper is used rather than anything thinner.
Collapsible versions solve the freight problem. A flat-packing magnetic box folds along pre-scored lines and pops into shape in seconds, cutting shipping volume by roughly 60–70%. For orders produced overseas, that difference often exceeds the entire print cost.

Will the magnets damage electronics or cards?
